Two years ago, Pastor Greg Laurie, Senior Pastor of Harvest Christian Fellowship published an article titled Jesus birth: It’s More About the “Why” Than the “Where.”
I strongly disagree with the premise of this article.
When you look at where Jesus was born and the historic and prophetic significance of the place of His birth, it proclaims who He is and why He was born.
In today’s podcast, I delve deep into the historic and prophetic significance of the place of Jesus’ birth.
We look at:
- Ruth
- Boaz
- King David
- The fields where the shepherds watched over their sheep
Yes, we need to talk about the why of Jesus’ birth, but we must not diminish the significance of the mystery of the where.
