Over two years ago I opened Foundational never knowing where it would take me as a writer.

As a pastor, I daily seek God’s face for a message for His people: my congregation and you. As I read about current events and watch our current political situation my heart is grieved and burdened that the church arise in the power and might of the Holy Spirit to bring a spiritual change to the world around us.

Important Information

And that is what Foundational is all about.

A call to the church to lay a strong and durable foundation so we can raise up a generation of men and women who will carry on the work when we are gone.

God has laid on my heart a few new things to bring to you here at Foundational:

1. More Resources: I am having all of my books redesigned and I will be relaunching them soon! In addition to the first two books in my Freedom Series (Discovering True Identity and Agape) I will be adding a 3rd book soon. I will also be relaunching my Discipleship workbooks, which are an excellent resource to use personally or with a Bible study group. I already have more resources in the pipeline that I can’t wait to share with you very soon as well as a new redesign of my Read Through the Bible in 365 Days so that it is an even better resource for you!

2. Education: Very soon I will be offering here a Bible Institute. I have a strong desire to not only disciple new believers, but also train and equip men and women for ministry. Here at Foundational you will find courses as a part of my online Bible Institute.

3. Newsletter: If you have not signed up for my newsletter yet, I encourage you to do that. I will be doing a lot more with my newsletter in the future, such as providing subscribers with exclusive content and resources that you will not find anywhere else.

One more thing…

And with these changes, I have decided to bring the linky party to an end. I find it simply does not fit the vision and direction of Foundational and I want to make sure that my readers find the very best content from me.

F. Dean Hackett has served in full time Christian ministry since October 1971. He has ministered throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, serving as pastor, conference speaker and mentor.

He has planted four churches, assisted in planting fifteen others, and currently serves as Lead Pastor of Living Faith Church in Hermiston, Oregon.

Dean has been married forty-five years to his wife, Wanda. They have three children serving in full time Christian ministry. Their two daughters are missionaries in Croatia and their son is planting a church in Portland, Oregon. They have nine grandchildren.

Dr. Dean is known for training many leaders who are presently in full time ministry around the world. He has completed a Masters in Ministry, a Masters of Theology and a Ph.D. in practical theological with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling. His enthusiastic and challenging ministry has made him a popular teacher and conference speaker. He has written eight books and is presently writing the third book in a trilogy Freedom Series.

Dr. Hackett founded Spirit Life Ministries International in 2001 to facilitate ministries in Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina and to open a training center for workers in those nations.
