In Scripture God reveals over and over again, how the Jewish people are His time piece by which we can know the end is near.
God hasn’t replaced Israel with the New Testament church, the New Testament church has been grafted in.
In Daniel chapter 9, we read this prophecy. “Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.”
But what do these seventy weeks mean?
In today’s podcast, we delve deeper into the fact that these seventy weeks are not seventy actual weeks – as in 7 days in a week, groups of seven year, making 490 years in total; and we look at what they signify and how they give us signs as to the closeness of Christ’s return.
