In 2 Chronicles we read that after King Hezekiah died, his son Manasseh took the throne.
Manasseh took the nation of Israel to a whole new level of idolatry, immorality, and degradation that the kings before him had not done.
He taught them that the previous standards of morality were outdated and judgmental; ushering in a new era of homosexuality and trangenderism.
He sacrificed his own son to idols, encouraging the nation of Judah to sacrifice their children and the nation was soaked in the innocent blood of their children.
His evil ways led the nation of Judah to descend into evil that even the nations around them did not stoop to.
But this led other nations to have power over them and Manasseh was taken captive. When he returned, he returned to the God of his fathers, and led the nation into a small revival.
