Speeding down that train track, I questioned how God could call me and anoint me for this ministry.
I had been struggling with those thoughts for several days. Holy Spirit began a conversation in my heart as I watched the Croatian countryside.
Standing alone in the hallway, looking out the windows, Holy Spirit’s voice became a little stronger and clearer. “You were not My first choice.” His words shocked me at first.
“I had called others with more noted ministries and who are more gifted than you. They would not go. They would not come and do this ministry. There was not enough notoriety. I chose you because you are willing.”
I stood there amazed and humbled.

Today’s podcast is a little different than my usual podcast. In today’s podcast, my daughter interviews me about my latest book Willing: Doing Whatever It takes.
Willing is a biographical story of God miraculously working through the life of an ordinary man who is willing to go any where and accept any ministry assignment no matter how insignificant, as long as he has the assurance, God is calling Him.
The story follows him from an abusive boyhood through his senior years, sharing his amazing conversion experience and his call to Christian ministry.
Amazing events took place in his ministry from Montana to Canada, behind the Iron Curtain, in the Pacific Northwest, and even during the Croatian War of Independence.
Every miraculous event is authentic and not fiction. Biblical principles and precepts are illustrated for living a dedicated life to Jesus Christ in the home or in the business community.
