As Jesus disciples, we not only pattern our life after Him, but we also do the same works He did because God wants disciples to make a difference in this world.
Have you noticed that when Jesus chose His disciples, He didn’t go to the Sanhedrin? He didn’t choose His disciples among the Pharisees or the Sadducees?
This was one of the reasons they were so angry with Him.
He had gathered around Himself ordinary people and sent them out with the power to do what He did. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
You may think that you are just a homemaker…
Just a contractor
Just a rancher
Just a teacher
But Jesus delights in taking ordinary people and enabling them to do extraordinary things for Him and His kingdom by giving them His power and authority to do the works that Jesus did, and greater works.
