We are living in a culture in which the things we once thought to be true are being questioned. Those who want to hold to what was always thought to be true are rigid and intolerant.
Culture today applauds:
- Gender reassignment
- Gender affirming care
- Defunding law enforcement
- Providing needles and narcotics to the drug addicted
Do these indicate that Jesus’ second coming is just around the corner?
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
When a culture doesn’t have the guardrail of truth, the gateway is open to lies, deception, and distortion that eventually lead to delusion to fill the void of truth.
