Have you ever read the whole Bible through from cover to cover?
Did you know that you can easily read through the Bible each year?
In fact, some have made it a goal to read through the Bible each year as a personal goal for their Christian life and have found the practice enriching over the years.
I have found those who create such goals for their Christian life have a particular spiritual depth that the church today is often seriously lacking.
Current research shows that only 1/3 of all adult Americans read the Bible once a week. I wonder how many adult Americans reads the Bible everyday. Only the same amount believe that the Bible is completely accurate in what it teaches, while less that 1/4 of Americans believe that it can be taken literally word-for-word. These facts are disturbing, but revealing. It is no wonder the church has come under strong delusion. It is no wonder that many popular ministers have fallen morally….repeatedly. It is no wonder that a woman pastor can find herself pregnant out of wedlock and yet remain in the pulpit.

We speak of the demise of America being due to the Bible being kicked out of public schools, and yet it would seem that the real reason for America’s demise is that the Bible has been kicked out of the home. Many Christian homes.
Scripture promises us sustained hope, joy, purity of heart and success if we will read the Bible and meditate on the Word of God.
Not once a week.
Not a few times a week.
Not even 5 days a week.
But everyday. 7 days a week….including vacations and holiday.
That is why I am challenging you in 2018 to read through the Bible cover to cover!
