This history of deconstruction theology stretches back to the late 18th century, as higher criticism began to arise as people began to question and attack the infallibility of the Bible.
From that time, various other movements and approaches to the Bible have followed, each one leading us further from the truth of Scripture and humanizing Jesus Christ to the point that his deity is hardly recognized.
Now we’re at a time when people are deconstructing their faith.
This is much like during the time of Jude when he wrote:
Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude 1:3-4
In today’s podcast, I share with you the history of the deconstruction movement and how it is impacting the foundation of our faith and our culture today.
