The term Christian during the time of the early church was a pejorative; because the early church Christians were trying so hard to live like Christ, they were called “little Christs”.
However, the term Christian has lost the weight of it’s meaning.
Everything today is “Christian”, from music to t-shirts.
We have moved from the understanding of a Christian being a disciples of Jesus Christ to a marketing label.
The question today is this: Are you a label-wearing Christian, or are you a disciple of Jesus Christ?
