They came into the studio almost daring people to say something.
The program was dealing with teen pregnancy and teen sexuality. Without notice to the keynote speaker, the panel had purposefully been filled two-to-one with lesbian and homosexual couples.
As the final couple arrived on the set, the keynote speaker quickly discerned it was a lesbian couple, the studio personnel gave him the obvious look, “Are you going to be offended?”
The entire program had stealthily been moved from a moral issue to a political issue centered upon tolerance.
It was no longer an issue of teen sexuality and the socioeconomic problems surrounding teen and early-teen pregnancy.
It was made into a political issue surrounding, “Will you be as tolerant of these couples as we are intolerant of your Judeo-Christian values?”
SNOOY!
A purposeful set up, So No One Offends You. SNOOY.
When the stage is set for SNOOY, the real issues will never be addressed. No one has been “judged.” Everyone leaves with “good feelings.”
The can has been kicked down the road yet again. The perpetrator of evil has won.
When moral issues are made into political issues the heart of the matter is removed. Tolerance is another way of saying, “You must accept our moral standards while we judge your moral standards.”
Why the Church Must Reject the Doctrine of Tolerance
Tolerance is not a mutual accepting of one another.
Tolerance has been redefined by the perpetrator of evil in his subtle effort to establish right as wrong and wrong as right.
It has always been about legislating moral values. The question is, “Whose moral values are being legislated.”
When SNOOY becomes the cornerstone of all discussion, the root issue will never be truly addressed. The discussion will always center upon making them feel good about themselves and expressing acceptance of one another.
This leaves a moral vacuum in the middle. That vacuum will always be filled with the moral values of the perpetrator of evil.
- Teen pregnancy
- Human sexuality
- Sexually transmitted disease
- Same sex unions
- Abortion
All of these are moral issues.
They are not political issues, never have been. Never will be!
They are moral issues, addressed by the Creator from the very beginning of human life.
The socioeconomic problems that surround all of these issues are the natural by-product of a moral breakdown.
These problems will only be corrected when we refuse to be held hostage by SNOOY and the deceptive accusation of intolerance.
Call wrong behavior what it is: Sin!
Sin will only be corrected when there is a presentation of an absolute standard of right and wrong, without apology and without compromise.
With the bold and consistent presentation of right and wrong there must be an equally bold and consistent presentation of love, mercy and grace; so the one who commits sin has an open door to repentance and reconciliation.
How will a person know their behavior is wrong and must be changed if SNOOY is always the standard?
Conviction is the only avenue for change.
Conviction comes to the heart through the loving, merciful and gracious presentation of truth! Not a presentation of compromised truth.
Compromised truth is neither love nor kindness. SNOOY is not loving. It leaves the person bound by destructive behavior.
Love, authentic love, always speaks the uncompromising truth with mercy and grace.
- Love points out the wrong behavior.
- Love presents the right behavior.
- Love provides an avenue of repentance for changed behavior.
- Love always calls for repentance with mercy and grace.
Do not suffer SNOOY!
Shine light in this dark culture.
Be a source of hope to someone who is bound by wrong behavior with no way out.

Thank you, Lisa. Your comment is very kind.
Wow! I’m so glad I clicked through to read this. I absolutely agree with you on the issue of tolerance and the way the Enemy has perverted that word. Only One authority exists to address these moral issues and that is the One True God, through His living Word. Thanks so much for this!
Jen 🙂
Thank you so much. What you have said here is so very true!
