Have you ever read through the whole Bible?
Have you ever tried to read through the whole Bible and got stuck somewhere between Leviticus and Numbers, Ezekiel and the minor prophets?
You are not alone.
Current research shows that only 1/3 of all adult Americans read the Bible once a week. I wonder how many adult Americans read the Bible every day.
Only the same amount believe that the Bible is completely accurate in what it teaches, while less than 1/4 of Americans believe that it can be taken literally word-for-word. (Research facts taken from Barna Research)
We speak of the demise of America being due to the Bible being kicked out of public schools, and yet it would seem that the real reason for America’s demise is that the Bible has been kicked out of the home.
Many Christian homes.
It is no wonder the church has come under strong delusion.
It is no wonder that many popular ministers have fallen morally….repeatedly.
It is no wonder that a woman pastor can find herself pregnant out of wedlock and yet remain in the pulpit.

This is sobering because the Bible is how God speaks to mankind.
There are no new revelations; God will not reveal anything to mankind that cannot be found and confirmed by His Word.
If we fail to read His Word consistently, how will He speak to us?
Even more importantly, how will we know if what we’re hearing from others is biblically accurate or not?
Jesus said that in the last day false prophets would arise, and they would be so convincing that even mature believers would be deceived.
Scripture promises us sustained hope, joy, purity of heart, and success if we will read the Bible and meditate on the Word of God.
- Not once a week.
- Not a few times a week.
- Not even 5 days a week.
- But every day.
- 7 days a week.
- Including vacations and holidays.
It is vital to our Christian life that we know for certain what the Bible says so that we thrive and can spot deception when we encounter it.
That is why I created the Read Through the Bible in 365 Days Bible Reading Challenge journal.

In my walk with the Lord for over 60 years, I have found that consistent, daily time spent in the Word of God is a powerful weapon.
Daily reading God’s Word is not only essential for consistent victory as a disciple of Jesus Christ, but also in renewing our minds so that we have the mind of Christ.
Although God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts, Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:16 that we can have the mind of Christ.
“For ‘who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?‘ But we have the mind of Christ.”
This is only possible when we take intentional steps to renew our minds, and we do that through memorizing and meditating on God’s Word.
In this journal, you will find resources that I have used regularly over the years to help identify trouble areas in my Christian walk and that have helped me create a strategy to overcome and find victory.
This free journal can be downloaded at the end of this blog post, so be sure to grab your copy today.
It not only provides reading plans, but also worksheets to help you deepen your spiritual walk.
In each journal, you will find 67 pages of worksheets, journal pages, and more. It includes:
