Men dressed in the most outlandish female clothing with gaudy makeup are being invited to lead reading times for children in public libraries.
Drag queens proudly identify themselves as they display their distorted image and their perverted behavior.
New laws have been passed through state legislatures permitting children to have abortions and sex-change procedures completed without parental consent.
Are we shocked by such? Are you wondering how we got to this place in our culture… and seemingly so suddenly?
We should not be shocked! It has not happened suddenly!

It has been more than sixty years since the United States education system, from pre-school to graduate level, has poured into the minds of children and young adults the idea that they are an advanced species of animals and there is no absolute truth, morals are relative, and there is no absolute reality.
What we are experiencing is the predictable outcome of eight generations educated and inculcated with evolution and a humanistic, pragmatic philosophy rooted in relativism and deconstructionism.
Removal of absolute right and wrong from the foundation of a culture will always result in moral depravity.
Erase the stem walls of absolute truth from a nation’s education and training, and the populace will experience a loss of love for truth and justice, and the people will gladly embrace deception, distortion, and delusion.
Instill in the minds and hearts of children and young adults that they are the product of chance and natural selection; then mock the idea that they are created by Almighty God with design, purpose, and destiny, and they will flounder in their search for identity, worth, and meaning.
Their thinking and emotions will seek to fill the vacuum with the most defiling and delusional experiences, hoping to find security and meaning.
Let’s be honest! We are seeing in our culture exactly what Jesus said would happen.
“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”
Matthew 7:26-27 NKJV
Great has been the fall in the United States of America because leaders and educators foolishly believed they could remove the only source of absolute truth from our education system and replace it with the lies and deception of humanistic ideology.
The Scopes Trial, also known as the Scopes Monkey Trial, July 10-21, 1925, opened the door for the education systems of America to remove the teaching of biblical creation and embrace the teaching of Darwinism and atheistic evolution.
While many do not, or do not want to, acknowledge the great significance of that move, without that open door there would be no basis for teaching transgenderism and the current theories of human sexuality.
Some leading anthropologists and biologists point to the animal kingdom for justification in believing a human with biological male genitalia and sperm production does not necessarily mean that person is not a female and vice versa.
A person with female genitals and producing an egg does not determine that person may not be a male. This new reasoning is based upon the belief system that human beings are just a higher form of the animal kingdom.
The only solution to such a fallen culture is a counterculture firmly grounded upon the belief and uncompromising commitment to absolute truth.
The members of that counterculture must be willing to stand upon and teach without compromise or apology the absolute truths that will set men and women free from the lies, deception, distortion, and delusion of the humanistic, pragmatic, relativistic culture in which we live.
God meant for that counterculture to be His Church.
Unfortunately, through the millennia, the Church has often become swallowed by the humanistic culture around it.
These times of compromise have required a Reformation, a Great Awakening, a Second Great Awakening, and seasons of revival like the Pentecostal outpouring, the Jesus People Movement, and the Charismatic Renewal.
Every time the Church returned to the source of absolute truth and boldly proclaimed that truth without compromise, the culture was impacted. People repented, and the lies were renounced. Exactly what the Psalmist wrote.
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”
Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV
Notice this individual (or a culture) greatly prospers and is in good health because they love God’s Word. They read it, memorize it, and meditate on it day and night.
They order their life and behavior by its principles and precepts.
They have rejected the humanistic counsel of the ungodly, resisted embracing the moral relativism of the people, and refuse to be intimidated by the mocking and threats of those who hate and despise their biblical worldview.
This matches perfectly what the Lord Jesus Christ said.
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.”
Matthew 7:24-25 NKJV
Do you trust the Word of God? Do you believe the Holy Bible is God’s infallible, inerrant, absolute truth?
Jesus said this is one of the defining characteristics of an authentic disciple.
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:31-32 NKJV
“If you abide…” that is, stand fast, without compromise, and make God’s Word your habitation. A true disciple of Jesus Christ orders their life, behavior, attitude, and value system by the Word of God.
Just as the Apostle Paul wrote to his spiritual son Timothy, assuring him, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:6-17). The Apostle explained that Scripture is the basis by which a person can order their life and live a good life.
The Apostle Peter wrote in his second epistle that Holy Scriptures did not come from human intellect and reasoning. Those who wrote the Holy Scriptures did so by the divine enablement of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:19-21).
There are those who insist the Holy Bible was not put in order until the third and forth century A.D.; therefore, it is not reliable and has gone through many revisions.
That is just not accurate.
Jesus referred to the Old Testament (Genesis to Malachi) as the Holy Scripture in Luke 11:51; Luke 24:27; and John 5:39. He emphasized the Old Testament Scriptures were infallible, inerrant, and eternal in Matthew 5:17-19 and Matthew 24:35.
The Apostle Peter assured us the New Testament is Holy Scripture when he referred to the writings of the Apostle Paul, equating them to “the rest of Scriptures” (2 Peter 3:14-18).
Without question, the Old Testament was declared Holy Scripture by the Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry, 30-33AD.
The Apostle Peter referred to the writings of the Apostle Paul in the New Testament as equal to “the rest of Scriptures” thirty years later (65-68AD).
The scroll of Isaiah found in the caves of Qumran in 1947 is dated to around 200 BC.
It is known that the original scroll written by Isaiah in 690-700 BC was still around at that time, and the scroll found in Qumran may have been copied directly from the original.
Here is the important point. The Qumran scroll is exactly like the Book of Isaiah in your Holy Bible. God has protected and guarded His infallible, inerrant Word.
Yes, dear one, the Holy Scriptures are the Word of God, completely reliable. It is the absolute truth upon which you and your children and your grandchildren can build their lives.
Pastor, teach and preach the uncompromised Word of God. Let’s raise up authentic disciples of Jesus Christ and ignite a counterculture reformation that will bring transformation to human lives.
