Your present and present circumstances do not have to determine your future and your identity.
Joseph was in prison under false charges. That could have easily become his future and his identity, but he refused to let that happen. Instead, he became 2nd only to Pharaoh in Egypt.
It’s a choice you make to stand up and stand alone in living a whole new life in Jesus Christ by a new identity that empowers you to stand against the cultural norms and stand for righteousness and holiness.
We can do this because all things are become new!
Learning to live in the power of “others may I cannot” will require you to keep a humble, gracious, loving spirit so that you’re not being critical and judgmental.
It’s also important that in this generation there is remnant that will rise up and say, I will not let culture and peer pressure to determine what I do.”
This is what I talk about in today’s podcast.
